Itinerary
At the time indicated, we'll start this electric bike tour of Pau from the Parc Aquasports. Are you ready? Let's go!
After some brief instructions, we'll start a low-difficulty 13 km (8-mile) route around this beautiful city in the French Pyrenees. Along the way, we'll make various stops to learn about the history and explore the landscape around the city, considered to be one of the most picturesque and historic in the region of Béarn.
Firstly, we'll head to Pau Castle, a medieval fortress which we'll admire from the outside. Then, we'll travel to the Boulevard des Pyrénées to enjoy the best views of the mountain system that separates France and the Iberian Peninsula.
The route will then continue to the historic centre of Pau, home to the San Martin Church and the iconic Place Clemenceau. In addition, we can make a brief stop in the old centre to try some local products if you want.
Finally, after a 2-hour 15-minute route, we'll conclude this electric bike tour in the Trespoey neighbourhood, a beautiful zone in Pau where numerous Brits lived at the end of the 19th century.
