Tour of the Palace of Versailles
Tour of the Palace of Versailles
At your chosen time we'll depart from Paris and, about 45 minutes later, we'll arrive in Versailles by bus, the de facto capital of France for several years during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
After visiting the interior of the palace, you'll have free time to explore the Versailles gardens. Throughout the 800 hectares, we'll see trees, plants statues and, ponds. In addition, at no extra cost, we'll see the fountains in operation on those days when they are in operation.
The visit to the palace and its gardens will last a total of two hours. At the end of the tour, we'll return to Paris.
Once there, we'll enjoy a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles, which we'll enter without waiting in line at the ticket office. On this tour, we'll stop in different rooms of the palace, including the King's and Queen's Grand Apartments. We'll also visit the Hall of Mirrors, where in 1919 the Treaty of Versailles was signed, which put an end to the First World War.
After the guided tour of the Palace of Versailles, which will last approximately 1.5 hours, you'll have free time to stroll around the gardens of Versailles at your leisure. In its more than 800 hectares (1976 acres), you can admire trees and plants of all kinds, statues, and ponds. You'll also be able to see the fountains running, a beautiful sight to behold.
Finally, from Versailles we'll return to the meeting point in Paris, where we'll arrive between 4.5 and 7 hours after the initial pick-up, depending on the option you choose in your booking.
Tour Options
When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following options:

If you only want the transport, and you prefer to visit the palace freely with an audio guide in English, we offer the alternative of booking without a guide at a lower price.
This audio guide can be downloaded to your tablet or mobile phone. When you board the bus, the staff on board will explain how to download the audio guide. To do so, you will need to scan the QR code displayed at the entrance to the Palace of Versailles.
This option includes return transport from Paris with 3 departures, 2 in the morning (at 8:15 am and 11 am) and one in the afternoon (at 2 pm), plus an audio guide in English to visit the palace.
4.5-Hour Guided Tour

In addition, with the 7-hour tour option, you can also take a free tour of the small and large Trianon palaces, which are located at the back of the garden of the Palace of Versailles.
