Tour of the Palace of Versailles
Tour of the Palace of Versailles
At your chosen time we'll depart from nearby the Eiffel Tower and, about 45 minutes later, we'll arrive in Versailles by bus, the de facto capital of France for several years during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
Once there, we'll enjoy a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles, that we'll access without waiting in line at the ticket office. On this tour we'll stop in different rooms of the palace, among which are the Grand Apartments of the King and Queen.
Of course, we'll also visit the Hall of Mirrors, where in 1919 the Treaty of Versailles was signed, which ended the First World War.
After the guided tour of the Palace of Versailles, which will last approximately 1.5 hours, you'll have free time to stroll around the gardens of Versailles at your leisure. In its more than 800 hectares (1,976 acres), you can admire trees and plants of all kinds, statues, and ponds. You'll also be able to see the fountains running, a beautiful sight to behold, on the days they're running.
Finally, from Versailles we'll return to the meeting point in Paris, where we'll arrive between 4 and 7 hours after the initial pickup, depending on the option you choose during the booking process.
