Continue your exploration to the top of the outcrop and discover Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. This magnificent 8th-century monastery attracts over one million visitors each year. Built to commemorate the Archangel Michael, it was catalogued as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. Depending on availability, you'll be able to explore the Abbey with a guide or with an audioguide.
After touring the Abbey, continue enjoying Mont Saint Michel at your own pace. We recommend trying one of Normandy’s famous crêpes or buying your friends and family souvenirs.
