Paris Tour for Families
Going on holiday with small children is not always easy, but there are some activities that can be enjoyed by both adults and children alike. One example is our family tour of Paris, which begins at the time indicated from the exit of the Louvre - Rivoli metro station.
Our two-hour walking tour around the most iconic landmarks in the center of Paris is designed to move at a gentle pace, making many stops, so that your little ones don't get tired. You might think that history and culture is boring for children. However, there is no need to worry as this fun-packed route involves quizzes and kid's games along the way, to keep everyone entertained at every moment. The children will be the players, but the adults will be helping them to resolve the puzzles so that even they won't get bored.
Our first stop is in front of the Louvre Museum, but we won't enter the venue and take a tiring tour of its huge halls. Instead, we will hear some fascinating anecdotes and facts about the palace as we admire the beautiful detail of its architecture.
Our tour of Paris of families continues by visiting the magnificent gardens of the Palais-Royal. In this free-to-enter park, adults and children alike will enjoy feeding the variety of birds that inhabit it. If we are quiet, we might even hear the enchanting birdsong.
The next stop of the walk is in front of the elegant Palais Garnier opera house, which was built in 1875. Here, we will learn all about the spooky story of the Phantom of the Opera. There's no need for the children to be frightened as the ghost doesn't appear during the day.
After 2 hours, we'll bring this tour to an end at the beautiful Place du Opéra or at the Place de la Concorde.
