Activity Details

Did you know the cacao bean was sacred to the ancient Maya civilisation? It's safe to say chocolate is a universal delicacy! Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of chocolate at Choco-Story Paris, where fun facts about everyone's favourite sweet treat await.

First, get hands-on with a chocolate-making workshop! Over the course of 45 minutes, you'll master chocolate-making techniques such as dipping while creating your own decorated chocolate bars. With expert guidance from the chocolatier, you’ll craft mouthwatering chocolate bars to take home and enjoy.

After completing the workshop, you'll have access to the museum’s interactive exhibit, which vividly recounts the history of the cacao bean. Trace its journey from pre-Columbian times to the beloved sweet treat we adore today. This exhibit leaves no stone unturned, exploring how cacao reached European shores and the unique preparation methods used across different cultures. By the end, you’ll feel like a true cacao connoisseur.

As you explore the interactive exhibits, you’ll be treated to a virtual demonstration showcasing the intricate art of crafting ganaches and pralines. And the icing on the cake? A yummy sampling of these exquisite creations!

The fun doesn’t stop with the grown-ups. Kids can join in too, with engaging activity booklets provided to keep them entertained and educated throughout the visit.
