South Paracas Desert Buggy Tour
South Paracas Desert Buggy Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Pozo Sur in the south of the Paracas Desert.
Before we hop aboard the buggies, we'll discuss some safety regulations relating to these powerful 4x4 vehicles that'll take us around the different sized dunes. During the buggy ride, we'll discover why Paracas means "sand rain" in Quechua.
As we make our way up and down the winding sand dunes, we'll admire one of the continent's most beautiful deserts. During our tour, we'll alternate between gentle, moderate and extreme riding. We'll also stop along the way so you can take in the scenery and snap some photos.
We'll make our way to the top of the perfect dunes for sandboarding, which is one of the most popular adventure sports in the area. Don't worry if you've never done it before! We'll explain how to do this sport so you can get the hang of it as you practise sitting or lying down on the board. The more daring among us will be able to surf over huge dunes that tower at over 160 feet (50 metres).
After this unique adrenaline rush, we'll return to your hotel in Paracas.
