Explore either the Costa Rica Oasis or the Morón Oasis by buggy and go sandboarding on the fine sand dunes of the California Desert on our buggy tour and sandboarding experience from Paracas.
California Desert Buggy Tour & Sandboarding
We'll meet at your chosen time on Avenida Libertadores. From this spot in Paracas, we'll set off in our buggy for the California Desert. This desert is made up of fine sand dunes that stretch all the way from the Pisco River to the city of Ica.
During our tour, we'll make stops so you can take photos and try out the most popular sport in the desert: sandboarding. Afterwards, we'll continue cruising through this arid landscape in our buggy until we get to the Costa Rica Oasis, which is a little slice of paradise in the middle of the California Desert.
When we get there, you'll have some free time to do different activities such as kayaking, paddleboat rides, paddle surfing and bird watching. You can also take a dip in the middle of the oasis.
After an unforgettable 3-hour 30-minute experience, we'll return to the starting point.
Morón Oasis
If you'd prefer, you can also book this same activity in the Morón Oasis. This spot is one of the most beautiful parts of the California Desert, as it's a less-busy spot that can only be reached by 4x4 vehicles.
This option lasts 4 hours, and you'll also be able to go sandboarding and use your free time to go walking, bird watching or swimming. In addition, we'll pass by the Costa Rica Oasis and make a brief stop to take photos and admire the views.
