On this Borneo Private Cruise in English with Orangutan Watching, you'll have a 3-day adventure on a comfortable superior category boat in the middle of a stunning jungle!

Description

Day 1: Pangkalan Bun - Kumai -Tanjung Harapan

On the first day of our adventure, we'll pick you up in Pangkalan Bun at the agreed time and hit the road to Kumai. Our superior category boat will be waiting there to take us on our cruise in Borneo.

We'll travel up the Sekonyer River towards the Tanjung Harapan National Park, which is one of the most spectacular places in Borneo. While we're here, we're likely to see our first orangutans.

Day 2: Tanjung Harapan

Our second day will be spent exploring the Tanjung Harapan National Park as we go in search of orangutans.

Let's go! We'll visit two different reserves where we'll be able to watch the orangutans as they eat and interact with each other. In addition, we'll meet some of the other animals with which the orangutans share their habitat, such as gibbons, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles and many other endemic species.

In the evening, we'll dock near one of the proboscis monkey colonies or a nipa palm area where thousands of fireflies will light up the jungle.

Day 3: Tanjung Harapan - Pangkalan Bun

After having a delicious breakfast on the boat, we'll return to Pangkalan Bun and take you back to the airport or your hotel so you can continue your Indonesian adventure.

4-day cruise

If you'd like to spend an extra day exploring the fascinating province of Kalimantan, we recommend opting for our 4-day private cruise. In this case, we'll spend an extra day meeting the friendly orangutans that inhabit the Tanjung Harapan National Park.

Accommodation

During the cruise, you'll travel and sleep on a 62-foot (19-meter) long private, superior-category cruise ship with a capacity for five passengers (two in an extra bed). It has a fixed cabin on the lower deck and a mobile cabin that's set up on the upper deck at night. The main room also has air-conditioning and a private bathroom for guests.
