At 09:00 am, we'll meet at Plaza Bolivar to start this tour of mysteries and legends in which we'll reveal the secrets of a city marked by pirates, hidden treasures, looting and ancient civilizations.
We'll start the tour with an introduction about Panama City and its name, do you know what this word means, and why this city was created? We'll find out!
Our first stop will be at the Plaza Bolivar, in front of the Convent of San Francisco de Asis. There we'll explain the before and after of Simón Bolívar in Panama. Next, we'll head to Arco Chato to tell you how it has evolved since it was built. In front of this structure that used to support the choir of the church of Santo Domingo, we'll tell you about passionate love stories.
We'll reach the outside of the church of the Altar de Oro to learn a story about pirates. We'll continue the guided tour in the Plaza Mayor, in front of the Cathedral of Panama, did you know that it has one of the most beautiful altars and the best-hidden secret of the city?
The tour will end at the Plaza de Francia, also called Baluarte de Chiriquí, to talk about the fascinating history of the famous Panama Canal, the soul of the country.
After 3 hours of sightseeing, the tour of Panama City will end in the vicinity of the square.
