Looking to spend a day at the beach? You're in the right place! At the designated time, we'll hop on a ferry in the Flamenco Marina Causeway and embark on a journey from Panama City toward the Pearl Islands. You'll fall in love with the scenery!
As we leave Panama City behind, you'll see how the skyline of the capital becomes smaller and smaller, while the islands become more striking with their intense shades of green. From the water, we'll start to see Saboga Island and Contadora Island. Cameras at the ready?
After 2 hours of sailing, we'll reach Sonny Island Resort, nestled in a beautiful islet in Punta Bajo Rico. Once we're there, we'll enjoy a welcome coffee served with a delicious traditional snack. From that moment, you'll have the Sonny Island Resort's facilities at your complete disposal.
You'll be able to relax and sunbathe in the comfortable lounge chairs on the beach, swim in the warm waters of the Gulf of Panama, practice snorkeling, play volleyball, and even play the popular game of cornhole. Plus, you'll have the chance to explore the jungle on the island's paths and, if the tides allow, explore the area's sea caves.
With all these activities on Sonny Island, you're sure to get thirsty. No worries—you'll have unlimited water and cold tea and you'll be able to use the showers. What else could you ask for? You'll also enjoy lunch in the complex's restaurant that overlooks the sea. Amazing!
