Bayano Caves & Kayak Tour
Bayano Caves & Kayak Tour
After picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll head towards Lake Bayano. This reservoir was created in 1976 when a dam was built to provide hydroelectric power for Panama City.
An hour and a half's drive will bring us to the Bayano Lake Bridge, from which will have spectacular views of the natural landscapes surrounding us. We'll then head to an islet on the reservoir, where we'll get ready for our adventure into the Bayano Caves.
Entering the caves, you'll be captivated by the fascinating rock formations and the wildlife that inhabits the space. Keep your eyes peeled for bats, reptiles and spiders!
After exploring the caves, we'll return to the island for a well-earned break and a delicious lunch. With renewed energy, it'll be time for our next activity: kayaking! We'll change our clothes and begin paddling our kayaks down the Tigre River. Throughout the trip, we'll get to admire its breathtaking scenery and the different birds and animals that live alongside the river.
At the end of our 2-hour kayak tour of the Tigre River, we'll return to the islet and get back on the bus for the journey back to Panama City. You'll be dropped back off at your hotel 8 hours after departure.
