2-Day Excursion to Nugnudub Island
Description
Day 1
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Panama City and make our way northward towards the Caribbean Sea coastline
After a 2.5-hour drive, we'll arrive at the Puerto de Cartí pier. From there, we'll make our way by speedboat towards the San Blas archipelago. This is an area of 365 islands characterised by some truly paradisical landscapes.
The boat ride will take us to the private island of Nugnudub, where you'll be able to drop off your equipment at a luxury campsite. Then, we'll return to the boat to head towards the Perro Chico natural swimming pool, one of the most beautiful islands in the entire San Blas Archipelago. Perfect for snorkelling!
Next, we'll begin our return journey back to Nugnudub Island, where you'll delight in a delicious lunch at its restaurant. After eating, you'll have the rest of the evening free. You'll be given snorkelling equipment and a standup paddleboard with an oar so that you can keep exploring the surrounding areas of the island by yourself.
Once night falls, you'll enjoy a warming meal at the restaurant on Nugnudub. Afterwards, you'll spend the night in a luxury camping tent. This accommodation is of the tipi style with an inflatable mattress and cushions and comes with a bottle of white or rosé wine. If you need to go to the bathroom, you can make your way to a small cabin with a bathroom, located just a few metres away from your tent.
When the restaurant on Nugnudub is open, people often arrive on the island to grab a bite to eat. However, once it closes, you'll have the entire island for yourselves. If at any point you need anything during your stay, you can approach one of the island's staff members who can be found in their respective cabins.
Day 2
The following day, you'll have a hearty breakfast, after which you'll have the rest of the morning free for yourselves. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy yet another delicious lunch on the island.
Finally, that evening we'll return to the Nugundub pier to then be taken back to Puerto de Cartí by boat. From there, the bus will take us back to the hotels in Panama City, where we'll arrive at around 8 pm.
