Tour Details
After meeting at the designated time on Monte Rey Street, you'll be given your quad to start this adventure and explore the towns of Lake Atitlán. Get ready for an unforgettable ride!
We'll start driving through the streets of Panajachel until we reach the main square of the Mayan town of Santa Catarina Palopó. Our first stop in this charming colorful town will be in Café Tuk. Here, you'll participate in a workshop to learn how to grind coffee beans.
After our workshop, we'll hop back on our quads to ride along the coast of Lake Atitlán and reach San Antonio Palopó, where we'll park our vehicles near the lake's main pier and visit a nearby ceramics factory. Did you know the ceramics from Palopó are a Guatemalan icon?
Next, we'll visit a traditional chocolate factory where we'll learn all about Guatemalan cacao. Not only will you witness the entire process of dark chocolate production in the area of Atitlán, but you'll also take part in a delicious chocolate tasting! Yum!
After our 4-hour experience, we'll begin our journey back on our quads and say goodbye at our starting point.
Activity Requirements
Please note that you must be 18 or older and have a driver's license to drive the quads. Children aged 13 to 17 may only ride as passengers.
