Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Palmas to get to know the most important spots in the city and its natural surroundings. You'll also have the chance to try your hand at different sports. Let's go!
Our first stop will be at Cesamas Park and Bosque dos Pioneiros Square, two ideal places in the city to stroll and relax. We'll also pass Pueblos Indígenas Park and Girasol Square, which offer a snapshot of the local culture and the region's rich history.
Next, we'll visit the Luís Carlos Prestes Memorial and the Monument to the Dieciocho del Fuerto, which are important landmarks highlighting Tocantins' history, We'll then make our way to Brazil's Geodesic Centre, the exact point that marks the geographic centre of the country. Such a curious site!
Our tour will continue at the Monument to the Pioneros, a bronze statue depicting a family. We'll explain the meaning behind the work as we admire its structure. Our next stop? The city viewpoint offers wonderful scenic views of Palmas and serves as a great spot to take a photo!
We'll then stop to rest at the beach, where you'll be able to re-energise by grabbing a bite to eat if you wish before we continue to our next stop: the famous Palma Lake. You'll have 2 hours of free time here to admire the landscapes and even try out some water sports.
