Welcome to the vibrant and young city of Palmas, in the heart of Tocantins! After picking you up from your hotel at the designated time, we'll begin to explore Palmas' history and culture through its museums and cultural centres. Let's go!
Our first stop on the tour will be the Casa Sussuapara, a place that perfectly combines the region's culture and nature. Here, we'll tell you about the city's legends in a venue surrounded by Tocantins' local flora.
Next, we'll make our way to the José Gomes Sobrinho Cultural Center, a space dedicated to Palmas' art and culture, with exhibitions and activities that will bring us closer to the region's identity.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Tocantins History Museum, where we'll learn about Palmas' city development since its founding in 1989. Did you know that Palma was the last Brazilian city planned in the 20th century?
Once we've got to know these fascinating and recent developments, we'll go to the Arnault Rodrigues Events Centre, a great multifunctional space where events that have shaped the city have been held.
Lastly, we'll make our way back to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 6 hours.
