Bananal Island and Cantao Park 3-Day Trip
Day 1
After picking you up from your hotel at Palmas airport at the scheduled time, we will get into a car to start a three and a half hour journey to the town of Lagoa da Confusão. There, we will enjoy a tasty lunch whilst learning about the photo safari that we will do next.
We will go in search of the animals in the area while capturing some incredible images. We will also see the three biomes of the country: the dense vegetation of the Amazon, the forests of Ipucas, and the Cerrado, a characteristic tropical savannah of Brazil.
Afterward, we will hit the road for an hour to the Javaés River in the hope of seeing more wild animals. As soon as we arrive, you will see Bananal: - the biggest river island in the world!
After this, we will return to Lagoa da Confusão where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will set off to enjoy a pleasant trip around the waters of Lagoa da Confusão and you can even take a refreshing dip! Afterward, we will take a two and a half hour road trip to the town of Caseara, in the heart of the Cantão Park.
Once there, we will enjoy a delicious meal and take a sunset boat ride on the impressive Araguaia River while admiring its beautiful beaches and islands, including the breathtaking Bananal Island.
Finally, we will return to Caseara to enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 3
We'll get up early for breakfast and head into Cantão Park where you will observe the magical sunrise. We will then continue the route on foot or by boat, depending on the time of year, and visit the park's headquarters to learn all about this ecosystem.
Afterward, we will return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Having enjoyed an amazing day, we will get into the car and drive back to Palmas. We will be at your hotel or at the airport at around 5:30 pm.
