Why ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway?
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is the world's longest rotating aerial tramway. With your ticket, you'll be able to travel up its 4-kilometer (2.5-mile) cable, which goes from the Californian city of Palm Springs all the way up to Mountain Station, which is at an altitude of 2595 meters (8500 feet) above sea level.
During the ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, you'll pass over the towering cliffs of Chino Canyon and get fantastic views of the wilderness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park - unbeatable scenery!
When you arrive at Mountain Station, you stroll along the various observation decks up there, grab a bite to eat at one of the park's restaurants, explore the National History Museum and visit the documentary theaters - there's something for everyone!
Whenever you're ready to head back down, you'll be able to hop back on the tramway and return to the starting point.
