Around 3 pm, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Palinuro and set off to the famous Hair of Venus waterfalls, or the Capelli di Venere, located within Cilento National Park. Get ready to explore a majestic oasis!
We'll travel in the direction of Casaletto Spartano, a picturesque town included in the Oasi Capello area, one of the main attractions of the park. Once we reach our destination, we'll take the wooded path that runs along the river and head to the end of the Rio Casaletto Valley.
At the end of the path, we'll find ourselves in front of the majestic Hair of Venus waterfalls. Do you know the legend behind the name of this enchanted place? We'll tell you all about it during the tour! In the shade of lush vegetation, you'll be left speechless by the shimmering play of light in the trees and the waterfalls!
Looking up, we'll also be able to see the remains of an old Norman stone bridge, the perfect frame for this magical spectacle. You won't be able to resist capturing the moment with some beautiful photos!
After admiring the waterfalls, we'll follow the river to an old water mill, next to which there is an area equipped with tables and houses where we can relax and refuel with a snack.
Then, we'll board the bus to return to your hotel in Palinuro, concluding a four-hour excursion.
