At the time indicated, we'll start this guided tour around the majestic Cathedral in Palermo. Welcome to the capital of Sicily! Are you ready to learn about its history and visit its main attractions?
Firstly, we'll walk to Piazza Marina Square, a place full of history and nature. Here, we'll admire its palm trees and explore its surroundings, where we'll find impressive monuments such as Palazzo Steri.
From here, we'll head to Piazza San Francesco Square, a corner filled with life and activity. We'll stop for a while here to observe the vibrant atmosphere that characterises the city and visit some of its shops and cafes.
Then, we'll continue our route towards the Vucciria, a true paradise for food lovers. Here, we'll submerge ourselves in the colours and aromas of this traditional market, and discover the wide range of fresh produce. Additionally, we'll learn some fascinating facts about the cuisine in Palermo and try some delicacies.
We'll continue to Piazza Pretoria Square, known for its fountain. You'll be amazed by its Renaissance architecture! Then, we'll head on to the Piazza Bellini Square, and of course, we can't forget the iconic Piazza dei Quattro Canti Square, a crossroads in the heart of Palermo. We'll admire its magnificent Baroque buildings and statues that are found on every corner of this octagonal square.
Last but not least, we'll visit the impressive Palermo Cathedral. Inside, we'll admire the mixture of architectural styles and learn about its historical and cultural importance.
After 3 hours, we'll end this guided tour of Palermo near the cathedral.
