The Hidden Side of Palermo Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Via Vittorio Emanuele, in front of the Palermo Cathedral, to begin our tour of the city's hidden past. Are you ready to discover the enigmatic figure of Cagliostro, a magician and alchemist who left an unforgettable mark on Palermo's history?
You'll start to uncover the secrets hidden behind the facades of the old churches and winding streets in the vicinity of the Piazza dei Beati Paoli. Here, you'll hear about the mysterious Santa Maria di Gesù al Capo Church and its catacombs and discover fascinating tales from the past, where legends intertwine with the city's history.
Continuing our tour, we'll walk through the stands of the Ballarò Market. This site was once a place for clandestine meetings and occult practices! Next, we'll head to Casa Professa, which once hosted secret ceremonies and mysterious rituals.
After our 4-hour hidden Palermo tour, we'll visit the Baroque Church of Carmine Maggiore and the Chuch of San Giuseppe Cafasso to conclude our tour.
