Day 1: Palenque - Yaxchilán & Bonampak
At 5:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Palenque and head to the Las Golondrinas Waterfalls. After a 2-hour road trip, we'll take a break for breakfast.
Once we arrive at Las Golondrinas Waterfalls, we'll spend two hours touring this paradisiacal spot. There we'll see how the river falls in the form of waterfalls of crystalline waters, forming rapids along the way. You'll also find a pool with green waters, surrounded by a jungle environment. You'll fall in love with it!
Then, we'll head to the archaeological site of Bonampak, where we'll spend about an hour. Did you know that this place is known for its well-preserved murals? You'll be left speechless!
We'll end the day staying in a cabin next to the Lacanjá River, where we'll have dinner and rest until the next day.
Day 2: Rafting on the Lacanjá River - Palenque
We'll have breakfast at the cabin and get ready for a morning of adventures. First, we'll go rafting on the Lacanjá River, enjoying the rush of adrenaline as we take on the rapids over the course of 2 hours. You'll have a blast!
Leaving the rafts behind, we'll then go on a hiking route through the Maya jungle to check out the local wildlife and savor the fresh air. Afterward, we'll return to the lodge for lunch.
