Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Palenque and travel to the Misol-Há waterfall, just 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) away.

This waterfall, located in an authentic natural paradise, is more than 30 metres high (98 feet). We'll enjoy a walk around Misol-Há and learn about the arduous work of the community to preserve the flora and fauna of the area. We'll also get to admire the passageway through the limestone grotto located behind the waterfall curtain. Don't forget to take pictures!

After visiting Misol-Há, we'll visit another of the most fascinating places in Chiapas, the waterfalls of Agua Azul. This Special Biosphere Reserve will leave you stunned by the intense turquoise colour of its waters due to the carbonate salts.

As soon as we arrive, you'll have 2.5 hours to enjoy Agua Azul, where you can also take a dip in its pools and relax in these unique natural surroundings. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch to re-energise. Enjoy!

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Palenque and end the day trip after a total of 8 hours.
