Maddalena Archipelago Excursion
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Palau port and board the boat that'll take us on our excursion to the Maddalena archipelago.
As we leave Sardinia behind us, we'll pass along the beaches of Porto Faro and Porto Raphael until we reach Santa Maria. Then we'll anchor in one of its coves to swim in its crystal-clear waters. We'll also be able to see the ancient Benedictine monastery on this small island.
Next stop...Budelli! Many people consider it to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. You can admire the coasts of other islands in the archipelago, such as Razzoli, while you take a dip in the Puerto de la Virgen.
We'll continue enjoying the Italian paradise by sailing next to the striking pink sandy beach of Budelli, you won't stop taking pictures! Afterwards, we'll take a break for a swim at the Granara de Spargi Cove. Here, we'll also see interesting rock formations that resemble witches or even the Italian peninsula.
The last stop of the day will be at La Maddalena. You can get off the boat to explore the charming streets of its historic centre at your leisure. You'll discover numerous 18th-century buildings and the famous Piazza Comando, where the holiday home of the presidents of the Republic is located. We also recommend that you take advantage of this break to re-energise in a local restaurant.
Finally, we'll return to the boat and end the excursion by disembarking at the starting point after a 7-hour trip.
