Want to visit one of the most famous natural landmarks in the Arizona desert? On this hiking route through Lower Antelope Canyon, we'll walk through the lower part of this breathtaking gorge.
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Indian Route 222 Page to begin a hiking trail that will take us to discover the lower part of this impressive natural monument.
We'll walk for 10 minutes until we reach the entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon, the narrowest area of this curious geological formation located in Navajo territory.
Wandering between huge sandstone walls, we'll tell you how this place has been shaped over millions of years. Hint: the answer lies in the combined efforts of wind and water and the properties of the rocks.
We'll go on a hiking route extending 1.1 miles (1.5 km) to marvel at the playful twists and turns of the canyon and its stone walls reaching up to 130 feet (40 m) in height. Since Lower Antelope Canyon receives more light than the upper area, you'll be able to take some incredible photos!
After an hour of hiking, we'll conclude the activity back at the starting point, ending the tour after a total of around 1.5 hours.
