Paddle your way along Lake Powell on a guided kayaking tour and experience the natural beauty of the area. Immerse yourself in nature in the Southwest!
Tour Highlights
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Antelope Point Launch Ramp for an incredible guided kayaking tour of Lake Powell, a man-made reservoir on the Colorado River!
After a quick introduction to proper paddling techniques, we'll gear up and hop into our kayaks. If you're kayaking for the first time, our friendly and knowledgeable guide will walk us through the basics. Plus, the lake is known for its calm waters, making kayaking a breeze.
Once we're geared up with life jackets and paddles, we'll launch onto the lake to begin our route as we head towards Water Antelope Canyon—a hidden gem that can only be reached by water. As we approach the area, we'll be captivated by the light channels spilling through the red stone rock towers that give this secluded area a unique ambiance.
Throughout the route, we'll make several stops to take amazing pictures of the dramatic red cliffs and learn more about the history of this landscape. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for the freshwater wildlife that thrives in the lake's unique ecosystem! How many fish species do you think you can name as we paddle along?
Then, we'll slowly begin our return to the launch point, taking more pictures along the way. After an incredible 3.5 hours, we'll bring the experience to an end.
