Even though it was in English, what we saw didn't need many words. The guide was very friendly at all times and was willing to take photos of us without hesitation.

Antelope Canyon X Hiking Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at MP 308 Hwy 98 in Antelope X Canyon and get into a 4x4 that will take us to the entrance of this natural monument of the Arizona desert

Although less well known than the Lower and Upper parts of Antelope Canyon, this section of the gorge offers equally stunning scenery. However, as it's a less frequented route, the visit is much more leisurely and without large crowds. The guide, a native of the Navajo people, will take you on a tour of the first canyon.

Once the first section of the canyon is completed, we'll continue the 656,2 feet (200 metres) hike to the second section. We'll see amazing scenery such as high sandstone walls and wind-sculpted labyrinthine trails as we hike through Antelope X Canyon.

Along the route, we'll notice the interesting rock formations of this gorge and we'll enjoy breathtaking views of sunlight filtering through the nooks and crannies of the gorge creating a fantastic orange colour. You'll also learn all about how incredible natural landscape has been formed and the important links between these lands and the native Navajo people.

After an hour and a half walk, we'll finish the hiking route and return to the starting point.
