If you're passionate about history, don't miss this guided tour of the Paestum Archaeological Park. We'll explore an ancient Greco-Roman city that is a World Heritage Site.

Tour Details

At the time indicated, we'll kick off our guided tour at the Basilica Paleocristiana dell’Annunziata, where an archaeologist will be waiting for you to show you the most important sites of the Paestum Archaeological Park.

The ruins in Paestum, a World Heritage Site, have preserved the legacy of the city of Magna Graecia. We'll start our tour around this ancient city by admiring the temples of Neptune and Hera, both known for their impressive Dorian columns.

We'll continue the tour by discovering other ruins, such as the amphitheatre. Then, we'll stop by the Temple of Athens, which also boasts elements of Dorian architecture. As we admire the columns, we'll learn more about the myths and legends based in this sacred place.

Additionally, we'll head to the Paestum Archaeological Museum to see other remnants found in the Ancient Greek city. The exhibition is particularly famous for the swimmer's tomb. Do you know who this person is? You'll find out!

After a 2 hour guided tour, we'll say our goodbyes, and you'll have the chance to continue exploring the archaeological museum if you want.
