El Chico National Park Hiking & Meditation Activity
At the indicated time, we'll meet you at your hotel in Pachuca and take you to the lush El Chico National Park.
When we get there, we'll take a walk through the forest and show you how to identify the plants and fungi that thrive in this ecosystem. As we walk, the environmental guide will tell us about the biodiversity of the park and teach you some basic tips for surviving in the wild.
We'll walk to the area around Las Goteras, where we'll find a viewpoint from which you'll be able to see Mineral del Chico. This is one of México's Magic Towns, or Pueblos Mágicos. You'll also gaze at beautiful views of the Cruz Grande and Cañón del Diablo crags. Let's find out the meaning behind their unique names!
Next, we'll walk to the Cruz Grande and Cañón del Diablo crags. We'll make the most of our surroundings by doing some guided meditation so we can connect with ourselves and feel at peace in the forest.
This introspective activity will help you to relax and understand the importance of protecting natural spaces. Once we feel cleansed of negative energies, we'll head to the town of Mineral del Chico. You'll have some free time here to eat lunch at the food market or at a local restaurant.
It'll then be time to return to the bus so you can be taken back to your hotel in Pachuca. You'll be dropped off 6 hours after pickup. See you next time!
