Harry Potter Oxford Tour
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!
At the appointed time we'll start the Harry Potter tour of Oxford at Broad Street. Along the way, we'll visit some of the settings featured in the most popular wizarding saga in history - it's going to be very exciting!
Did you know that the abbey of Hogwarts is at New College? We'll enter this centre of learning, founded in the 14th century, to discover the place where Mad-Eye Moody transformed Draco Malfoy into a ferret in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
We'll continue our tour of Oxford with a visit to the Divinity School. Inside we'll visit the Hogwarts Infirmary, run by Madame Poppy Pomfrey. You'll be able to relive the first Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone film and imagine the hospital beds where young Harry was nursed back to health after his confrontation with Voldemort.
Afterwards, we'll take a closer look at the outdoors at Oxford University, which even has its own Quidditch league. We'll explore what other links Hogwarts has with the university by touring the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest in Europe.
During the tour, we'll also hear about other films and series that have had Oxford as their inspiration. Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are some examples.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll end the tour by returning to the starting point. Mischief managed!
