Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from the train station in Oviedo and travel to the Somiedo Natural Park. Are you ready to discover one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain? It'll take your breath away! You'll enjoy a personalized experience in a smaller group, limited to a maximum of 8 people. Our compact-size vehicles allow us to explore inaccessible locations for larger excursions and venture beyond the main tourist areas.
Our first stop will take place in Perlunes, and then we'll head to Somiedo Natural Park, home to the Cantabrian brown bear and some of the most spectacular valleys and lakes. We'll head to the park in the Cantabrian Mountains' central area to get to know its dreamy landscapes.
We'll continue the route to Pola de Somiedo. Did you know that the English researcher Joseph Townsend talks about this village in his book Viaje por España en la época de Carlos III? While in this town, we'll also visit the Somiedo Natural Park Interpretation Centre.
Before the end of the route, we'll arrive at Farrapona Peak, where we'll begin an hour-long tour on foot of the area. During this walk, we'll visit one of the most beautiful and special places in Somiedo, La Cueva Lake, and take you to the most secluded corners. Later, we'll visit the Ecomuseum of Somiedo, which is the perfect place to learn about this area's life and rural essence.
Lastly, we'll return to the minibus that will take us back to Oviedo. Arrival is scheduled for between 10 and 11 hours after the starting time.
