Rock Climbing in Los Loros Gorge
We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel in Ovalle and drive to Los Loros Gorge, a massive canyon located just 30 kilometers (18 miles) away.
Once we get to the gorge, we'll adjust our helmets, harnesses, and the rest of the climbing equipment. Ready to climb? The activity will be supervised at all times by a specialized instructor, so you won't have to worry about anything, just enjoy the experience!
During the climbing activity in Los Loros Gorge, we'll climb on vertical rock walls between 12 and 15 meters (40-50 feet) high. The level can be adapted according to the previous experience of the group.
As we climb through this breathtaking gorge, we'll get great views of the Río Hurtado while we learn about the geological characteristics of the terrain. We'll also discover that, despite the desert-like climate, this is an area with amazing wildlife biodiversity.
At the end of the climbing adventure, we'll return to your hotel in Ovalle, where we'll arrive at 1 pm.
Hotel Pickup
This activity includes pickup from hotels in downtown Ovalle. If you're staying in other more remote areas, we'll pick you up at the scheduled time at the Plaza de Armas in the city center.
