We'll meet at Praça Tiradentes at the scheduled time and make our way to the Cachoeira do Campo neighbourhood to begin this visit of the Inconfidentes Cheese Factory. Ready to discover all of the secrets behind the production of artisan cheese? Let's go!

We'll arrive at Sítio do Lobo, a tranquil and idyllic location where the Inconfidentes cheese factory is located. This Ouro Preto region factory actively saves the history and traditions of the cheese-making process. Did you know that their way of making this product comes from the Azores? Dating from around 250 years ago!

We'll see all the steps in the production of the cheese and, in Sítio do Lobo, we'll make our way to the Casa de Pedra. There, we'll continue our journey to discovering the best cheese in Minas Gerais. Hungry yet?

At Casa de Pedra, a charming 18th-century eatery, we'll sit down to try the Minas Gerais Solar da Ópera coffee. This drink will be accompanied by various types of cheese, of different maturation levels. Coffee and cheese is a very common flavour combination in this region.

After the tasting, we'll make our way to the shop where the famous San Bartolomé sweets are sold, so that you can bring back with you a souvenir from the experience.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point. We'll arrive 4 hours after later, after trying one of the most delicious foods in Minas Gerais. Until next time!
