Ostuni Guided Visit
At the scheduled time, we'll see you on Corso Giuseppe Mazzini to start our guided visit of Ostuni. During our tour, we'll learn lots of fun facts about Ostuni, such as the reason why its houses have been plastered white.
We'll stroll through the historic centre of Ostuni and make several stops at different viewpoints to admire breathtaking views of the Itria Valley and its vast olive groves.
As we walk, we'll see the outside of some of Ostuni's most historically significant buildings, such as the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. We'll take a journey through time back to the 14th century as we discuss the construction of this building and the extensive remodelling it underwent after a devastating earthquake in 1743.
Our walking tour will also take us to the façade of the Town Hall and the Co-cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. This building, which is also known as Ostuni Cathedral, is located in the highest part of the so-called White City. We'll share lots of fascinating facts about these places while you take lots of photos and enjoy the tour.
After 1 hour 30 minutes, we'll finish our guided visit of Ostuni back at the starting point.
