Oslo Sightseeing Bus Tour and Port Cruise
At the indicated time, we'll meet up at 1 Haakon VIIs Gate. From this central location, we'll set off on our sightseeing bus tour around Oslo. On the vehicle, there'll be an English-speaking guide plus an audio guide available in English so you can learn all about the history of Norway's capital.
Our first stop is at Holmenkollen - the most famous ski jump in Oslo. You'll have 30 minutes here to take photos of this grand slope, which is one of the main attractions in this area of the city's outskirts.
The tour will then take us to Frogner Park, where our guide will take us around the Vigeland Sculpture Park on foot. This 40-minute walk will introduce us to the symbolism of the park's statues, which were sculptured by Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland.
We'll then head to the museum district, Bygdøy. Here, you'll have free time to eat lunch and visit the Fram Museum, which is dedicated to Norwegian polar exploration, and the Viking Boat Museum.
To round off our day, we'll make our way to the pier at the City Hall where you'll set off on a delightful cruise around the port of Oslo. During this 2-hour boat trip, we will sail around the numerous islands that scatter the bay surrounding the Norwegian capital.
This boat tour will then finish back at the departure point.
