Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Namba OCAT 1F, the Osaka City Air Terminal. There, we'll hop on a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Arashiyama, a district located on the outskirts of Kyoto, where we'll discover a very unique site.
After an hour's drive, we'll arrive at our destination, where an impressive bamboo forest awaits us! Here, we'll enjoy strolling through the lush vegetation and take the opportunity to cross the Togetsukyo Bridge. Do you know the legend surrounding this place? If not, don't worry, we'll tell you about it during the tour!
Anyone hungry? We'll stop at a local restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch, depending on the tour option you selected at the time of booking. Once we've regained our strength, we'll head towards Kinkakuji, better known as the Temple of the Golden Pavilion. In this place, declared a World Heritage Site, we'll learn the secrets of its majestic architecture.
Afterwards, the tour will resume in the city of Nara, which was the capital of Japan between the years 710 and 784. As we explore its streets full of history, we'll have the chance to visit the iconic Nara Park to meet its most popular inhabitants, the deer. You'll be delighted to discover how friendly they are -you can even have your picture taken with these adorable animals.
Lastly, we'll make our way back to the meeting point in Osaka, arriving after around 8 hours and 40 minutes.
