Kyoto Tour + Sagano Train
Description
At 9 am, we'll meet at Namba OCAT 1F, from where we'll take you to Kameoka Station to board the Sagano locomotive, one of the most iconic locomotives in the country!
Onboard this unique means of transport, often referred to as the "Sagano Romantic Train", we'll go through a scenic route to discover the most beautiful natural landscapes in the area. Once we reach Arashiyama station, we'll hop off the train to get on a bus to take us the rest of the way.
From there, we'll take you to Arashiyama to discover its famous bamboo forest. Then, depending on your tour option selected, we'll stop to rest and refuel with a delicious Japanese-style buffet lunch.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, we'll move on to our next destination: the religious complex of Kiyomizudera. Did you know this place was declared a World Heritage Site in 1994? You'll understand why soon enough!
Next, we'll go to Fushimi Inari-taisha, the main Shinto shrine dedicated to the spirit of Inari. Don't forget to take tons of pictures next to its iconic torii arches.
Lastly, we'll head back to Namba OCAT 1F, dropping you off there around 5:50 pm.
