If you would like to combine some sport with a guided tour of Osaka, we'll be waiting for you at the scheduled time at 2-21 Tenmabashikyomachi where we'll get on the bikes and start exploring the city!
We'll ride through the streets of the city, admiring the imposing buildings and bridges that cross the river. Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, founded in 949. Did you know that Tenjin Matsuri is held here? It's one of the three major festivals in Japan.
Afterwards, we'll pass by the Osaka Museum of Housing and Life, where we'll see a cityscape of the Edo Era recreated on a real scale. After this historical visit, we'll get to know the rich gastronomy of Osaka. On our bikes, we'll pedal over to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch, including a plate of okonomiyaki, typical Japanese food that's sure to tickle your taste buds.
Of course, no tour would be complete without a visit to Osaka Castle, one of the main architectural jewels of this Japanese city, over 400 years old. Upon arrival, we'll get off the bikes to tour the fortress on foot. We'll visit its gardens and the shrine in honor of Hideyoshi Toyotomi. Don't know who he was? Wait to find out during the tour!
From here, we'll stop for another break and enjoy Japanese green tea with a snack.
Then, we'll bring our tour to an end returning to the start point, after 5 hours of sightseeing.
