Cruise past the rice fields of the Delta del Ebro with this trip that includes a boat ride with magnificent views!
Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride
At 3 pm we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office, next to the beach. From here we'll make the little over one hour journey to the natural environment of the Delta del Ebro, where we'll be able to see the most special places of this area on a catamaran!
When we arrive at the natural park we'll embark and begin a 50 minute journey around the Buda Island. During the route, we'll explain the geographical characteristics of this reserve. Did you know that the water of the wetlands is rich in crustaceans? Some of the most typical dishes of the area are made using them. We'll learn some facts about the island's past and the reason for its name.
We'll continue sailing through the rice fields and discover how these traditional crops work. We may also see dozens of birds such as flamingos, jars or seagulls.
Afterwards, we'll hop off and pay a brief visit to the Ecomuseum to find out all about the importance of the conservation of the Delta del Ebro.
Finally, we'll set off for Oropesa del Mar, where we'll arrive at approximately 8 pm.
