Sierra Juárez Day Trip
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Oaxaca to begin this day trip to the Sierra Juárez. Ready to discover its beautiful corners and the magic they hide?
Our first stop will be at the Paraíso los Encinos, where we'll rest and you can eat some breakfast. Feeling refuelled, we'll head to the Guelatao de Juárez, where we'll take a full 1-hour guided tour. Did you know that there's an enchanted lagoon there? You'll be able to discover the history hidden in its waters! We'll also see a replica of the house of the politician Benito Juárez in Guelatao and a museum in his honour.
We'll return to the minibus and go to the glass viewpoint of Ixtlán, from where you'll have one of the best views of the Sierra Juárez. Don't forget your camera! After admiring this fascinating panoramic view, we'll continue our route to visit a traditional medicine centre, where you'll be able to enjoy their curative treatments. Fancy a massage? You'll feel totally refreshed!
At midday, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch. Afterwards, we'll finish the tour by returning to Oaxaca and dropping you off at your hotel 10 to 12.5 hours later.
