Sálvora Island Tour
At 10 am, we'll set sail from the port of El Grove towards the island of Sálvora: a beautiful island that forms part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park in Galicia.
After a short crossing of the Arosa estuary, we'll disembark at the Sálvora dock to enjoy a tour of the island. On this tour, which will last a total of two and a half hours, we'll visit two places on foot: the lighthouse and the old village.
Did you know that Sálvora lighthouse played an important role in World War II? We'll soon find out! We'll also learn about who lived in the old village on the island, where we'll see its special granaries.
As we walk along the different trails, we'll also discover the wildlife of Sálvora. Before taking the boat back, we'll learn about the history of the island's mermaid, whose sculpture is located next to the quay.
On the return trip we'll continue to observe the beautiful Galician seascapes. Finally, at 2:30 pm we'll dock at the port of El Grove.
