At 8:30 we'll meet at the Nyaung Shwe pier, where a traditional boat will be waiting to take you to Sagar, an impressive archaeological site full of stupas.
During the trip, which lasts about two and a half hours, you'll enjoy the incredible experience of travelling across Lake Inle, one of the most important lakes in this region of Myanmar, as it supplies more than 200 villages. From the boat, you'll see how the villagers live and the peculiar fishing they do.
On board you'll appreciate the numerous stupas of Sagar and the sculptures that decorate the area. Sagar is one of the least visited parts of Lake Inle, but you'll be surprised by its beauty.
On the return journey, we'll stop at Kyauktaung, to discover the excellent pottery work carried out by the inhabitants of this small town. You'll certainly want to take some souvenirs with you!
The tour will end returning to the starting point in Nyaung Shwe at 2 pm.
