PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is the best way to to enjoy your first experience of scuba diving and become familiar with the sport. It's an advanced scuba diving course suitable for beginners that will help you become more confident underwater.  

Day 1: Theory & Confined Water Practice

The course is divided into two days. On the first day, we'll meet at the dive centre in Nusa Lembongan to receive a brief theory lesson on how to use the equipment and the safety techniques to use when scuba diving.

In just half an hour we'll be ready to get into our equipment and experience our first dive in the pool. We'll practice how to breathe with the regulator, how to control our buoyancy and how to communicate underwater with the instructor.

Day 2: Open Water Scuba Diving

The next day, we'll meet again at the same place before getting on board a boat that will take us to the chosen spot for the first open water dive. We'll get kitted out on the boat and the instructor will be on hand at all times to show us the steps to follow and help with whatever we need.

When you're ready, we'll jump into the water and begin to descend to a maximum depth of 12 metres. Together with the instructor, we'll explore the impressive coral reefs and go in search of the amazing marine life that inhabits the area around Nusa Lembongan. 

After the dive, we'll return to the boat for a well-deserved lunch with coffee, tea and fresh fruit (vegetarian option available). The perfect way to refuel before continuing the activity!

Once the required waiting time between dives has elapsed, we'll get ready to get back in the water. We'll then do a second dive and you'll be able to put everything you have learnt into practice. You'll feel like an expert scuba diver in no time!

At the end of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course, we'll sail back to the dive centre so that you can return to your accommodation to rest.

Diving at Manta Point

Indonesia is a diver's paradise, boasting some of the most biodiverse waters in the world. To make the most of its incredible underwater wildlife, you'll have the choice to do your open water dives in the area known as Manta Point, next to Nusa Penida, the neighbouring island of Nusa Lembongan. Here you'll have the opportunity to dive alongside the huge and majestic manta rays - an unforgetabble experience!

After the activity, you must wait at least 18 hours before boarding a plane or going anywhere above 300 metres above sea level.
