Nusa Lembongan Cycling Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Sangyang Bay Villas Lembongan, where we'll pick up our bikes. From there, we'll start our cycling tour around Nusa Lembongan. Ready? Let's go!
Firstly, we'll make our way towards The Devil's Tears, a natural phenomenon where the sea water crashes against the cliffs creating a rainbow effect. The next stop will be at Dream Beach, one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island, with white sand and perfect waves if you like surfing.
Next, we'll visit the Gala Gala House, an underground house inspired by the Mahabharata movie. Next, we'll cross the Yellow Bridge, which connects Nusa Lembongan with Nusa Ceningan and offers some incredible views of the ocean. There, we'll visit a typical Balinese house, where we'll learn about the way of life and culture of the locals.
Our next stop will be at the seaweed farm. Its uses will be explained to us and, we'll also be able to try some of the products made from seaweed. Then we'll head to a very unique cemetery, where the graves are covered in colourful hats. There, we'll learn about the beliefs and funeral rituals of the inhabitants of the island.
We'll continue pedalling towards the highest point in Nusa Lembongan, where we'll have some incredible views of the beaches, mangroves and Mount Agung, one of the biggest volcanos in Bali. You'll be able to take a tonne of photos! Afterwards, we'll make our way down to the Sacred Tree Temple, where we'll be able to see how the locals worship nature and make offerings to nature itself.
Before finishing up our cycling tour of Nusa Lembongan, we'll visit Mahagiri Beach and enter the Lembongan mangrove forest, our final destination, where we'll hop on a speed boat to explore this iconic area.
After 4 hours in total, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point.
