PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
If you've already successfully completed the PADI Open Water Course and want to advance in the world of scuba diving, the next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
During the course, you'll complete five dives. Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation are mandatory, and you then choose three of the following adventure dives.
- Shipwreck diving.
- Night diving.
- Identification of AWARE fish.
- Boat diving.
- Buoyancy.
Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation
On the first day, we'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am and take you to the diving centre in Nilaveli. When we arrive you'll be given your equipment before we hop on the speedboat and sail off to the selected dive site.
Throughout the morning we'll master deep diving and underwater navigation. With these two techniques, which are mandatory in order to pass the course, you'll learn to dive up to a maximum depth of 30 metres and how to navigate using a compass under the water.
When we finish the dives, we'll take you back to your hotel.
Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives
The second and third day of the course will be dedicated to the three adventure dives you selected.
Whichever options you choose, you're sure to spend two unforgettable days exploring the sea bed of Nilaveli and its surroundings. You can go night diving, discover a shipwreck or improve your buoyancy performance.
Once you've carried out all the exercises successfully, you'll have completed the Advanced Open Water Diver course.
