Visit one of the smallest countries in Europe on this excursion to Monaco by train from Nice. We'll visit the main sites of the luxurious micro-state where the House of Grimaldi still reigns.
Monaco Train Excursion
We'll meet at the scheduled time in front of the Nice-Ville train station, just next to Paul Bakery, where we'll catch a train to Monaco - one of the smallest countries in Europe awaits!
After a half-hour ride, we'll arrive at the only train station in the Principality. Once we get off the train, we'll set off on a guided tour of the historic center of Monaco, beginning with a walk through some of the streets that make up part of the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix.
We'll then pass by other iconic Monaco landmarks such as the St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Oceanographic Museum, whose exhibition was inaugurated in 1910, and since then has been directed by illustrious personalities including the famous French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau.
Continuing on, we'll stop at the Jardin Exotique, a cliff-side garden that houses more than 1,000 species of plants. Some of them are even more than 100 years old! From this park, we'll head to the Monaco train station to take the train back to Nice, where we'll end this excursion after a total of 4 hours.
If you prefer, you can stay longer in the Principality to explore the palace area or the Monte Carlo Casino at your leisure. In this case, we'll provide you with an open return train ticket so that you can return to Nice at the time of your choice on the same day.
