Discover one of the pearls of the Côte d'Azur with this Nice Free Walking Tour. Learn about its exciting history, accompanied by an English-speaking guide through the old town of the French city.

Nice Free Walking Tour

We'll meet at the appointed time at the Fontaine du Soleil in Nice. We'll stroll over its irregular checkerboard floor and discover the reason for this asymmetrical layout.

We'll then wander through the streets of the Vieux-Nice, the historic centre of the city. We'll pass through some of its most iconic spots, such as Cours Saleya, the main avenue and the heart of Vieux-Nice. From here, we'll head to the hill of the Château de Nice.

From this point we'll walk to the Promenade des Anglais. This iconic avenue of Nice bordering the Bay of Angels will allow us to feel all the glamour of one of the most exclusive areas of the Côte d'Azur.

After enjoying a unique panoramic view, we'll end the free tour two hours later at the foot of the château.

Nos gustó mucho. La guía Lua nos explicó todo muy bien y fue muy agradable. No pongo excelente porque éramos más de 10 personas en el grupo y para grupos tan grandes se debería ir con pinganillo porque a veces nos perdíamos alguna explicación. Translate this opinion into English.

The tour was excellent Tim was very nice and helped us with our questions. We learned a lot about the history of Nice with his stories. Maybe would be better to use memory cards at some points like traditional food where to go what to do etc?? But me and my son enjoyed the tour so thank you very much

El tour con Lua fue muy entretenido. Éramos un grupo muy reducido pero fue mil veces mejor que en un grupo en el que casi no puedes interaccionar con el guía. Nos iba explicando todo a la vez que dándonos recomendaciones de sitios por donde pasábamos como una local más. No se nos hizo pesado ni por el tiempo que duró ni por caminar demasiado. The tour with Lua was very entertaining. We were a very small group but it was a thousand times better than in a group where you can hardly interact with the guide. She explained everything to us while giving us recommendations of places we passed by like a local. It didn't feel boring either because of the time it lasted or because we walked too much. Hicimos el tour con Pamela, explico cosas interesantes sobre la ciudad. Dejo tiempo en un par de puntos para dar una vuelta (aunque el tiempo era un poco justo), iba haciendo recomendaciones de restaurantes mientras hacíamos el tour. Estuvo bien para un primer contacto con la ciudad, aunque para mí le faltó profundizar en curiosidades, detalles o cosas prácticas de la ciudad (más allá de restaurantes).
