Nice Free Night Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Fontaine du Soleil Place Massena to set out on a tour of Nice – a city that became French only 160 years ago! Throughout the tour, you'll discover some of Nice's best sites highlighted by the night sky.
We'll learn about the city's modern history, from the roaring 20s, to the World Wars, to Nice's most recent developments, as we marvel at the city's beautiful nightscape.
You'll also take a stroll around the MAMAC and the Open Sky Art Museum, where you'll explore the importance of contemporary art in Niçoise culture. As you admire amazing artwork, your guide will tell you all about the stories behind some of the city's most impactful works.
Then, we'll go on a journey through the evolution of tourism in Nice. You'll get a snapshot of the city through the lens of its visitors, from the English and Russian wealthy elite who established their own community in the 20th century, to the beautiful holiday destination it is today.
During the tour, you'll even have the chance to sample a local specialty and get food and drink recommendations from your local guide!
Finally, after 2 hours of exploring Nice, we'll return to the meeting point and end the tour.
