Located at Pier 86 on Manhattan's West Side, the Intrepid Museum was founded in 1982 with the acquisition of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid.
This non-profit educational institution's collection also includes the space shuttle Enterprise, the world's fastest jet aircraft, and even a guided missile submarine!
With technologically innovative aircrafts and vessels on display at the museum, you can take a fun, interactive journey through U.S. naval and aerospace history.
