Ticket for Hamilton
Plot of Hamilton
The musical Hamilton chronicles the life of one of America's founding fathers. From orphan to George Washington's right-hand man, Alexander Hamilton went from being a rebel to a war hero who fought to create a new nation where dreams could come true.
Created by the Tony Award-winning creative team behind In The Heights, Hamilton has become one of Broadway's most acclaimed shows. A performance that tells the history of the country in an entertaining and educational way, providing a fresh perspective on one of America's most important figures.
Richard Rodgers Theatre
Hamilton is performed at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, which opened in 1924 as the 46th Street Theatre but was renamed in 1990 to honor legendary composer Richard Rodgers. This theater is a temple of Broadway, as it has hosted successful musicals such as Nine, Chicago, Guys and Dolls and Anything Goes. It was renovated in 2006 and houses a space where you can learn about the history of its namesake.
