Arriving at the north side of floor 69, you'll sit on a beam that will rise and rotate 180 degrees for you to enjoy unique views of Central Park and Manhattan's skyscrapers from an alternative perspective. You'll love it!
Additionally, with this ticket to the Beam, you'll have access to the iconic Top of the Rock viewpoint on level 70 of the Rockefeller Center. From here, you'll also have some of the best scenic views of the city that never sleeps.
Opening Hours
- The Beam: is open daily from 8 am to midnight.
- Top of the Rock: is open daily from 8 am to 11 pm. During the month of December, it's open until midnight, with the exception of December 31, when it's open until 10 pm. In all cases, final admission is 1 hour before closing.

Q - How is the Beam affected by the weather?
A - In the event the Beam must be closed due to extreme weather conditions, guests will be issued a voucher to visit at a later date.

Q - Is there a height or weight limit?
A - Visitors must be 132 cm (4 ft 3) or taller to go up to the Beam alone. If shorter, guests must be a minimum of 107 cm (3 ft 5) and be accompanied by an adult. All guests must have tickets. The maximum weight limit is 136 kg (300 lbs).

Q - Is there a dress code?
A - Guests must wear close-toed shoes or sandals that fully engage the heel. Hats and glasses, and scarves must be securely fastened.

Q - Are there any prohibited objects?
A - The following items are not permitted on The Beam: Mobile phones, tablets, laptops, electronic devices, cameras, selfie-sticks, go-pros and other recording devices, backpacks or bags of any size, keys, wallets, beverages, bottles, infant carriers or any other loose items. Medical devices such as oxygen tanks, canes and walkers are also not permitted. All loose personal belongings must be stored in the cubbies located next to The Beam.
